AI LITERACY FOR ORGANISATIONS

AI for Non-Technical Teams

Written for the people who have to decide about AI without building it — managers, operations, marketing, finance, HR, founders. No maths, no code, no vendor pitch. Engineers welcome too, for the business half of the picture.

Course syllabus

Four modules build in order: what the technology actually is, how projects really run, how to bring AI into an organisation, and the risks and societal questions that come with it. Every module ends with a quiz, and a final assessment covers all four. Every lesson and every quiz is free.

  1. 1. What AI Actually Is

The vocabulary decoded — machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, data science — plus what data really is, a usable rule for what AI can and cannot do, and what separates a company that uses AI from a company that is genuinely built on it.

  2. 2. How AI Projects Actually Work

What it feels like from the inside — the real workflow of a machine learning project and a data science project, how to choose one worth doing, how to work with an AI team without being technical, and how to tell when something is genuinely finished.

  3. 3. Bringing AI Into Your Organisation

Two case studies that teach pipeline thinking, a realistic sequence for building AI capability rather than collecting pilots, the pitfalls that reliably kill initiatives, and a concrete first ninety days.

  4. 4. AI, Risk and Society

A realistic view of what AI is and is not, how bias enters systems and what it has actually cost, how AI can be attacked and misused, and the honest position on AI and jobs — with documented cases throughout.
